Adam Stikuts
Adam has a diverse civil, commercial, and employment litigation practice. He has represented entrepreneurs, executive-level employees, and businesses large and small on a broad range of issues, including shareholder disputes, wrongful dismissals, and the interpretation of commercial loan agreements. He has appeared at various levels of court, from Small Claims to the Court of Appeal. He also has experience drafting rules of procedure for hearings at public institutional clients.
Adam obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Civil Law at McGill University, where he received prizes for graduating with the highest standing in the law of Evidence and Civil Procedure, and for achieving the highest standing in his year across the mandatory courses of the McGill law program. He also participated in the Gale Cup moot.
As a student, Adam summered and articled at a top Toronto litigation boutique, where he worked closely with partners on many high-profile matters, including injunctions, defamation, and publicly commissioned investigations.
Adam completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at McGill, studying linguistics, French-English translation, and music technology. He speaks fluent French and is conversant in Danish and Spanish.
